Very cool. The big deal is the Kreg Pocket Screw jig they are used with. These screws are, obviously, square drive screws with a self drilling point. Because the Kreg pre-drills a hole near the end of many of the pieces you need to screw together, you cannot use drywall screws as the bugle head will split the ends. This is an absolutely awesome setup. You can literally throw very durable wood projects together with nothing but wood that is cut to the dimensions you want, a drill, and the Kreg Pocket hole kit. You have to use a flat washer type head - thats where these screws come it. Truly, this is one of the handiest things I have for almost any kind of wood working.
